About Me

I developed a deep interest in human healthcare, particularly alternative medicine, through the influence of my grandfather, who practiced internal medicine in Okayama, Japan.

My journey has an international touch. After graduating from Reflexology School in Tokyo in 2000, I continued my studies at The Wilbury School of Natural Therapies (now The Wilbury School of Massage) in East Sussex, UK. There, I trained in Swedish Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, and Holistic Aromatherapy. More than just acquiring techniques and knowledge, I was introduced to the philosophy of Holistic Medicine, which focuses on treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. This approach has since been the foundation of my practice.

Throughout my career, working in spas, herbal shops, and facilities for the elderly and disabled, I came to understand that massage is far more than a physical touch. It is a powerful exchange of positive energy that promotes healing for both the client and the therapist, nurturing body, mind, and spirit.

I moved to the United States 10 years ago and enrolled at the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage, where I further honed my skills and connected with passionate colleagues. Now licensed in both Maryland and Virginia, I fulfilled my dream of establishing my own practice at home, inspired by the success of many British therapists.

The treatment room I’ve created is warm and inviting, with your privacy always being atop priority. I ensure that draping is always secure, and I schedule enough time between appointments to ensure I am refreshed for every session.
