About Me
I got interested in human health care, especially alternative medicines, because of the influence of my grandfather who practiced internal medicine in Okayama, Japan.
My background has an international flavor. After graduating from Reflexology School in Tokyo in 2000, I attended The Wilbury School of Natural Therapies (currently The Wilbury School of Massage) in East Sussex, UK. There I studied Swedish Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, and Holistic Aromatherapy. I not only learned techniques and knowledge but also the concept of Holistic Medicine, caring for the whole person -body, mind, and spirit. Since then, Holistic Medicine is the basis of my practice.
Through my working experiences in Spas, herbal shops, and facilities for elderly and disabled people, I realized the concept is true: Giving and receiving a massage is more than a physical touch; it is a positive energy exchange that heals body, mind, and sprit for both client and therapist.
I moved to the States 10 years ago, and I returned to school at the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage. There I updated my technics and met enthusiastic co-therapists. Now licensed in both Maryland and Virginia, I started my own practice out of my house. This has been my dream since I saw it done successfully by many British therapists.

My treatment room is cozy, and your privacy is always a primary concern. My draping is very secure. Moreover, I take enough time between appointments so that I am refreshed before every session.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me. Since I practice in my home office, I am able to work on only female clients. Thank you for your understanding.
